Essential Qualifications for VECC Recruitment vacancies 2026:
Stipendiary Trainee Category I: BSc/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Civil engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks after SSC from recognized institution.
Stipendiary Trainee Category II: SSC with minimum 60% aggregate arks with science & Mathematics stream plus trade certificate course for a period of one year in relevant trade.

Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre VECC Recruitment Selection Method 2026:
Selection of candidates is based on written examination/ Preliminary Test/ Advanced Test/ Skill Test/ Interview.
Selection procedure for Category I Stipendiary Trainee, Scientific Assistant/ B vacancies:
Written examination: conducted for 1 hr. consists of MCQ type questions.
Syllabus for this test is from Diploma/ BSc level subjects.
Interview:Eligible candidates from written exam will have to appear for Interview.
Selection procedure for Category II Stipendiary Trainee, Technician/C/B, Fireman vacancies:
Preliminary Test: Comprises of 50 MCQ type questions, 3 marks will be awarded for each question and the time duration is 1 hr.
Mathematics: 20 Qs.
Science: 20 Qs
General Awareness: 10 Qs.
Advanced Test:After clearing Preliminary test candidates are required to appear this Advanced Test.
This test comprises of 50 MCQ questions and total marks are 150. Negative marking for each wrong answer is 1 mark.
Test duration is 2 hrs.
Skill Test: candidates who cleared Advanced test will be eligible for this skill test.
