Essential Qualifications for JKPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2026:
The candidate must have qualified A Bachelors degree in MBBS
or its equivalent or more qualification recognized by Indian Medical Council.
And the candidate must have the practical experience.
Age limits for JAMMU AND KASHMIR Medical Officer Recruitment 2026:
Minimum age limit is 18 years and Upper age limit for OM
candidates is 40 years and for RBA/ALC/SLC/ SC/ST 43 years.
The candidates who are working in government service
their upper age limit is 40 years.
For PH candidates age limits are 18-42 years.
For Ex Serviceman maximum age limits are 48 years.
Pay Scale for JAMMU AND KASHMIR Medical Officer Recruitment 2026:
Pay band is Rs. 52700-166700/-
JKPSC Medical Officer Recruitment Selection Process:
Medical Officer jobs selection is based on written exam
and interview.
JKPSC Medical Officer Exam Syllabus Pattern:
JKPSC MO Exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
Exam duration is 120 minutes.
Total 100 questions will be given.
There is 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
For each correct answer one mark will be given.

Candidates must have uploaded the Latest color pass size photo and signature
photo. At the time of applying online must provide the valid email Id and
mobile number.
Certificates to be upload online:
i. Date of Birth Certificate.
ii. Permanent Resident Certificate.
iii. Educational Qualification Certificate Prescribed for
the Post.
iv. Marks certificates of prescribed qualifications.
v. Registration certificate of MBBS
vi. Registration certificate of MS/MD/DNB/MCH/DM/DNB,
from concerned Authority, if any.
vii. Registration certificate from MCI in case of Degree
obtained from abroad.
viii. Internship certificate.
ix. Valid Category certificate as per SRO 294 dated
21.10.2005 as amended from time to time and read with other relevant SRO’s.
x. For Physically Challenged Candidates, Disability
Certificate on the prescribed format.
