RRB Depot Material Superintendent Jobs Recruitment 2026: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released Centralised Employment Notice CEN No. 04/2026 for recruitment to various posts of Junior Engineer and Depot Material Superintendent (DMS). The recruitment is being conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards under the Ministry of Railways.

There are 324 Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) vacancies under Category No. 37 in this recruitment. Eligible candidates with a three-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution can apply for the DMS posts. Selected candidates for Depot Material Superintendent posts will be appointed under Pay Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

CBT-II consists of 150 objective-type questions for 150 marks.

Technical Abilities for RRB DMS

Technical Ability carries the highest weightage in CBT-II with 100 questions for 100 marks.

For DMS candidates, the notification states that the required qualification is a three-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline. Candidates eligible for DMS who have qualifications not specifically appearing in the discipline mapping table have to choose any one of the listed Exam Groups during online registration.

The notification provides the following Exam Groups:

  1. Mechanical and Allied Engineering
  2. Electrical and Allied Engineering

  4. Civil and Allied Engineering

RRB DMS Selection Process 2026

The selection process consists of:

  1. CBT-I
  2. CBT-II
  3. Document Verification
  4. Medical Examination
  5. Final Empanelment

CBT-I is used for shortlisting candidates for CBT-II. Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification are selected based on their normalized marks and merit in CBT-II. The number of candidates shortlisted for DV is equal to the number of vacancies.

Candidates must also pass the prescribed Railway medical examination and successfully complete document verification before final empanelment.

Therefore, the earlier information mentioning January 2026 exam and admit card four days before the exam should be removed from the old article.
