Essential Qualifications for Haryana SSC TGT Punjabi Recruitment 2026:

àThe candidate must have qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/ School Teachers Eligibility Test(STET).

àB.A. with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/1 year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) or

àSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four year Bachelor in Elementary Education B.El.Ed.)/Four years B.Ed/1 Year BEd Special Education.

àIn case of B.Ed., Punjabi is should be a teaching subject from a recognized university

à Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.

Age limits for HSSC Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) Punjabi Recruitment 2026:

The candidate age limits are 18-42 years.

For working teachers who are working privately in government aided and government schools for them 5 years of age relaxation is given.

Age relaxations will be given as per government norms of Haryana.
