Qualification Details
Candidates must possess MBBS with relevant postgraduate or super specialty qualifications depending on the department. Qualifications such as MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCh, Fellowship or equivalent specialization are required as per the specialty applied for. Dental specialists must possess BDS with MDS in the relevant discipline.
Applicants must also have valid Medical Council registration and relevant experience in the concerned specialty.
Period of Engagement
- Initial contract period – 5 years
- Performance review will be conducted every year for continuation.
- The appointment will be purely part-time visiting consultant basis.
Salary / Remuneration
Visit Charges
- MBBS with Diploma / Fellowship – ₹1,500 per visit
- Specialists with MD / MS / DNB / MDS – ₹3,000 per visit
- Super Specialists with DM / MCh / DrNB – ₹4,500 per visit
Procedure / Surgery Charges
- Minor Procedure – ₹10,000
- Major Procedure – ₹20,000
- Supra Major Surgery – ₹30,000
Additional visit charges may be applicable for emergency calls.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates will work at Mumbai Port Authority Hospital, Nadkarni Park, Wadala (East), Mumbai.
