ARO Kolkata Army Recruitment Rally SoldiersGD, Nursing Assistant Recruitment 2026: Army Recruiting Headquarters of Kolkata has released a recruitment notification for Soldiers Post under departments namely General Duty, Clerk, Tradesman, Aviation and Nursing. The Headquarters will hold a Army Recruitment Rally from 30th September to 8th October, inviting
eligible candidates from six districts of Kolkata namely Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah, Kolkata and South 24 Parganasto participate for the same. Candidates interested provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria in all respects can fill the online application form in order to attend the Army Recruitment Rally. Online Application can be filled from 29th August to 28th September 2026. Selection of Candidates will be on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Examination and Written test sequentially. Candidates applying to Soldier Post must not exceed the upper age of 23 years and minimum age should be 17 ½ years.


Educational Qualifications for ARO Kolkata Army Recruitment Rally Soldiers GD, Nursing Assistant Recruitment

Candidates interested to participate in the Army Recruitment Rally organized by Headquarters of Kolkata must possess the following qualifications:
Soldier General Duty: Passed 10th class with at least 55 % marks as aggregate.
Soldier Technical: Passed 12th class with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry & Maths), having secured 50% marks as aggregate.
Soldier Store Keeper/Technical: Passed 12th class in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) with 50% marks in each subject.
Soldier (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner): Passed 12th class with Sceince3 stream having Physics, Chemistry and Maths subject.
Soldier Tradesman: Passed 10th class/ITI Diploma
Soldier Nursing Assistant Veterinary: Passed 12th class with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary Rs.20,200/- 
Other allowances are applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process for ARO Kolkata Army Recruitment Rally Soldiers GD, Nursing Assistant Jobs

Applicants who have successfully applied within the stipulated time will be assessed on the basis of following parameters:
      1.       Physical Standards:

      2.       Physical Fitness Test: It will involve following activities:
      i) Running Test: 1.6 Km within 5 Mins 45 secs
     ii) Pull ups: Between 6 to 10
     iii) 9 Feet Ditch
     iv) Zig-Zag Balance
     3.       Medical Examination
Candidates qualifying both the Physical Standards and PFT will be subjected to Medical Examination.
     4.       Written Test (Common Entrance Exam )
Written Test will be conducted for medically fit candidates. It will consist of Objective Type questions based on syllabus as per the education standards prescribed for each post.
