APTET Exam Notification 2026, Syllabus:The Andhra Pradesh Government Education Board is released a new notification on 10-06-2025 regarding online exam of Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test APTET 2026. The interested candidates can apply online for Andhra Pradesh APTET Exam 2026 at https://aptet.apcfss.in/ on or before 16-07-2025. The candidates searching for the details about the APTET exam can refer this notification. There are 2 papers in APTET exam 2026. The candidate should have qualified Teacher training course or B.Ed and pursing the final year of Teacher Training course or B.Ed. APTET 2026 is like a qualifying exam for the candidates who aspire for a Teacher job (20% Weightage) in any Government, Private or Aided Schools. The candidates who have qualified D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed or B.Ed or BA B.Ed or B.Sc B.Ed or B.Com B.Ed or Diploma in Special Education are eligible for BSE APTET online exam. Qualifications for APTET 2026 Paper-I A (Classes I to V): 

The minimum qualification is Intermediate with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ PWD candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. He must pass in 2 years D.Ed/D.El.Ed 4-years B.El.Ed / 2 – year Diploma in Education.

Qualifications for APTET 2026 Paper-I B (Classes I to V) Special Schools: 

Inter with 2 years D.Ed Special education or Diploma in Special education in any category of disability

Or

Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate

Or Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months certificate course

Or Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education

OR Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.

OR Primary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment.

Or Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation

Qualifications for APTET Paper II (A) (Classes VI-VIII):

·         Mathematics & Science Teachers/ Social Studies Teachers:
i) Any graduation in concerned subject with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ ST/ BC/PWD, the minimum marks shall be 40% and pass in B.Ed. Course/ B.Ed.

ii) 4 year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ PWD candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. or 4 year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ PWD the minimum marks shall be 45%.

·         Language Teachers: 

Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects. Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent). Graduation in Literature. Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed. with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

Qualifications for APTET Paper II (B) (Classes VI-VIII):

·         Physical Education Teachers: Must possess Intermediate and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education of One or Two years duration U.G.D.P.Ed/ D.PEd

·         Physical Education Teachers/ School Assistant (Physical Education): Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree with Physical Education an elective subject or Graduate in Physical Education (BPE) at least Three years duration and B.P.Ed

APTET 2026 Examination Fee: 

Rs.500/- for each Paper-IA, IB, Paper-II (A) & (B) separately.

AP TET Exam Pattern:

APTET Exam consists of two papers. AP TET Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V. AP TET Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear in both Papers (Paper I and Paper II).

For each paper exam duration is 150 minutes.
