AP Nursing Midwives Council New Online Registration form available at NRTS Portal
The Andhra Pradesh Nursing and Midwives Council (APNMC) has introduced an online facility for nursing students who have completed their courses to complete their primary registration online. The Medical and Health Department has taken this step to simplify the registration process for nursing graduates in the state.
Until now, only renewal of nursing registrations was available through online services. However, starting from March 16, the council will also provide online primary registration services for nursing candidates.
Online Registration Facility for Nursing Graduates
Previously, students who completed nursing courses had to visit the AP Nursing Council headquarters in Vijayawada to complete the registration process. This included:
- Primary registration
- Certificate verification
- Application submission for other services
This procedure required candidates to travel to the council office, which caused inconvenience for many students.
To make the process easier, the government has now enabled online registration for nursing graduates.
Registration Through NRTS Portal
As per the guidelines of the Central Government, the Andhra Pradesh Nursing and Midwives Council will now allow candidates to complete registration through the NRTS (Nurses Registration and Tracking System) portal.
Through this portal, nursing candidates can:
- Submit registration applications
- Upload certificates and documents
- Track application status online
The council officials will verify the documents and approve applications digitally through the system.
Renewal of Registration Also Through NRTS
According to APNMC Registrar K. Susheela, nursing professionals must now complete their registration renewal through the NRTS portal instead of the AP Nursing Council website.
This means that all services including primary registration, renewal, and other nursing council services will now be available through the Indian Nursing Council NRTS portal.
