For General and OBC candidates examination fee is Rs.100/-. For women, SC/ST candidates there is no examination fee.
 

Selection Process for Postal Assistant SSC CHSL Vacancy Recruitment 2026:

Selection for Postal Assistant will be held in 3 different stages.
1. Tier 1 Computer Based Online Written Exam
2. Tier 2 Descriptive Type Written Exam
3. Tier 3 Skill Test/ Typing Test

1. Tier 1 Online Written Exam Pattern for SSC CHSL Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant:

Online written test will be conducted for 200 marks with the time duration of 60 minutes.
Written test consists of 4 parts.
Part-1: General Intelligence 25 Questions-50 Marks
Part 2: English Language Basic Knowledge 25 Questions-50 Marks
Part 3: Quantitative Aptitude Basic Arithmetic Knowledge 25 Questions-50 Marks
Part 4: General Awareness 25 Questions-50 Marks
For each wrong answer 0.50 negative mark will be deducted.
