Candidate must have studied Geology, Physics, Chemistry are one of the subject in Intermediate/Higher Secondary.

Must have studied Degree in one of the subjects of Agriculture, Computer Applications, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biotechnology, Bio Chemistry, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Math’s and Veterinary Sciences. For more details please see the official notification carefully.

 

For all the candidates age limit is 21-30 years as on 01-01-2025.

As per government norms of CGPSC age relaxations are applicable.

 

Selection for this CGPSC recruitment will held in three stages.

1. Written Test

2. Physical Efficiency Test

3. Personal Interview

 

Written test will be in the form of Objective type multiple choice questions.

 

Objective type multiple choice written test will be conducted for 600 marks consist of 2 papers.

Paper 1:Paper 1 will consist of 150 questions with 2.30 hrs duration and each question carries 2 marks.

General Studies, Hindi, English and Chhattisgarh language related questions, mental ability, General Intelligence, Quantitative aptitude.

Paper 2: Paper 2 will consist of 150 questions with 2.30 hrs duration and each question carries 2 marks.

 

For male candidates Height is 163 cms

Chest 84 cms + 5cms after breath.

For ST candidates height 152 cms.

For female candidates Height is 150 cms

Chest 79 cms+ 5cms after breath.

For ST Female Candidates height 145 cms

 

For Asst Forest Conservator Pay band is Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP Rs.5400/-

For Forest Ranger Pay band is Rs. 9300-34800/- with GP Rs.4300/-

 

Eligible candidates of General have to pay Rs.400/- and for all reserved candidates of Chhattisgarh have to pay Rs. 300/- through online using Debit/Credit or Net Banking.

 

The eligible candidates must have to apply through online only. To fill the application form online the candidates have to login to the http://psc.cg.gov.in website and click on online application for Forest Ranger and complete the registration process while filling the required fields.
