SLST Upper Primary Level Assistant Teachers Recruitment 2026 in WBSSC: The West Bengal Central School Service Commission WBSSC will conduct first SLST – 2026 test for appointment of Assistant Teachers for IXth to Xth Classes and XIth to XIIth Classes in Government aided or sponsored Schools of Secondary/Higher Secondary. Candidates must have qualified West Bengal TET.
Age Limit for Upper primary level Assistant Teachers:
Age limit must in between 21 years to 40 years. 5 years relaxation is there for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates, 3 Years for Other Backward Classes, 8 years for PH candidates.
Age limit cut of date is 01-01-2025.
Selection Process for Assistant Teachers Recruitment:
It will be through State Level Selection Test SLST only. Duration of Test is One hour. Language of question paper is Bengali and English only except for language papers.
SLST Test Pattern:
There are 55 multiple choice questions in the question paper. Each question carries one mark. There will be no negative marking.
SLST Exam Fee:
General & OBC Categories – Rs.250/- . Fees may be deposited up to 07th January, 2026.
