Selection for this UPSC CMS Examination will be held in two stages.
1. Online Written Test-500 Marks
2. Personality Test-100 Marks
Personality test will be conducted for 100 marks. Those who are qualified written test they are only eligible to attend the Computer based online test.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus for UPSC Combined Medical Services CMS Examination:
Computer based online written test will be conducted in two papers of total 500 marks. Each paper consists of 250 marks. Each paper will be for 2 hours.

Total 120 questions will be given for 250 marks.

(b) General Medicine 70 questions
