UP Police Constable Bharti 2018 -300 Marks Written Exam-Read Age limits, Reservation Details

Through the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, a 300 marks written examination will be conducted for the recruitment of 49,568 posts of the Civil Police Constable and PAC constable. Online applications for these posts will starts from 19-11-2018.

According to the new notification of the board, the online application will start from November 19 and will be till December 8. The last date for submission of online application fee will also be on December 8, whereas the last date for submitting offline (e-challan) application fee will be December 10. In the recruitment process, the application fee for all categories of candidates has been fixed at Rs 400. For the selection, the Board has decided to conduct a written examination of 300 marks. This test will be of objective type, in which there will be only one question paper. The question paper will contain questions about general knowledge, general Hindi, numerical and mental abilities, mental aptitude, intelligence and logical ability. On the wrong answer, negative points will be given.

Candidates passing XII or equivalent examination will be able to join this examination. The maximum age for male candidates is 22 years and the maximum age for female candidates is  25 years. Age limit will be calculated from July 2018. For the total posts of Constable in civil police, 20 percent of the posts will be reserved for women. This reservation will be done on a horizontal basis, ie the category of women candidates who will be given reservation in the same category. For the dependents of freedom fighters 2% and for ex-servicemen and home guards 5% percent horizontal reservation has also been given.
