TGPSC Group-2 Exam Date 2026: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has finalized the dates for the Group-2 exams. On February 2, TGPSC has announced that the Group-2 exams will be conducted on August 29 and 30. TGPSC had issued a notification in December last year for the recruitment of a total of 783 vacancies of Municipal Commissioner Grade-III, Sub-Registrar Grade-II, Assistant Registrar (co-operative society), ACTO, Deputy Tehsildar, Assistant Labour Officer, MPDO, Excise Sub-Inspector, Assistant Social Welfare Officer etc. Applications were accepted from January 3 to February 2. A total of 783,18,16 candidates have applied for the Telangana Group-2 Exam 2026.
TGPSC Group-2 Exam Consists of 4 papers for 600 marks-There is no interview-No negative marking
The TGPSC Group-2 exam will have four papers –
Paper-I (General Studies)
Paper-II (History, Politics and Society)
Paper-III (Economy and Development) and
Paper-IV (Telangana Movement and Formation of The State).
Each paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark.
There will be no negative marks. There is no interview for TGPSC Group-2 Exam 2026.
Each paper will have a time of two and a half hours.
The exams will end in two days at the rate of two papers per day. The hall tickets will be put up on the website a week before the exams. You can download hall tickets at tgpsc.gov.in website.
