As on 31-07-2025 the candidate upper age limit is 57 years.
Educational Qualification for Tamil Nadu TRB Recruitment 2026:
TRB Qualification for the post of Senior Lecturer:
·Candidate should secure minimum 50% in their Masters Degree .
·Candidate should secure minimum 55% in their M.Ed. Degree .
·Candidate should have the teaching experience for a minimum of 5 years.
TRB Qualification for the post of Lecturer:
·Candidates should have passed their Masters degree with minimum 50% marks in Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography.
·M.Ed., qualified candidates for Lecturers in Languages or Subjects and M.P.Ed., M.Ed., for Lecturers in Languages or Subjects and M.P.Ed., for Lecturers in Physical Education, with minimum 55% marks for Lecturers in Physical Education, with minimum 55% marks.
TRB Qualification for the post of Junior Lecturer:
·Candidates should have passed their Masters degree with minimum 50% marks in Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, History and Geography.
·Candidate should secure minimum 55% in their M.Ed. Degree.
TN TRB Junior Lecturer Examination Fee:
Amount of the application fee depends on the categories is as follows:
·General/OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC – Rs.500/-

TN TRB Lecturer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:
Candidates selection is based on written exam and certificates verification.
TN TRB Jr/Sr Lecturer Part A Tamil Language Eligibility Test Patten:
Total 30 questions will be given.
Exam duration is 30 minutes,
TN TRB Exam will be conducted for 50 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks 20.
TN TRB Jr/Sr Lecturer Examination Scheme:
·TRB Examination for Lecturer, junior and Senior Lecturer conducts written test only in single paper.
·The TRB Written Examination conducted for 150 marks in 3-hour duration.
·Objective Type pattern of questions with multiple choices are given .
·The Exam syllabus includes major subject, Education methodology and general knowledge.

The language preference for all subject in TRB question paper will be in Tamil and English only.
