Hyderabad: Telangana government has taken a key decision in the tenth class examinations. Chief Minister KCR decided to promote the students to the upper classes without conducting any exams, as the coronavirus virus cases increasing. Chief Minister KCR conducted a high-level review on

Monday in Pragatibhavan. Minister of Education Sabitha Indra Reddy, General Secretary of the Government Somesh Kumar, Special Secretary to Education Chitra Ramachandran and CMO General Secretary S. Narsing Rao were also present.

There are 534,903 tenth class students are in the Telangana state. There were six subjects and 11 papers, of which 3 papers for the two subjects exams are completed. At the time, the government had stopped tenth class examinations on the orders of the state high court. The CM held a high-level meeting on Monday to take a further decision regarding the pending exams. The meeting examined the methods adopted by various states across the country in regard to the tenth class examination. There was a long debate on what to do in Telangana. The procedure to be followed in Telangana was finalized. The Chief Minister has decided to promote the students to the upper class based on the marks obtained in the Internal Assessment Examinations conducted in schools. Depending on the future circumstances, the government has decided to take the examination of degree and PG examination.
