PM Internship Scheme 2026 Notification: The Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PM Internship
Scheme 2026) is now accepting applications. This pilot project by the
Central Government aims to equip young people with essential skills and provide
employment opportunities in top-tier companies. This is a great opportunity for
the youngsters who are looking for the Internship in prestigious companies.

Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme:
The process of applications for PM Internship Scheme (PM Internship Scheme),
which was recently launched by the center with the aim of providing employment
opportunities by teaching skills to the youth, has started. The scheme was
launched with the aim of imparting skills to one crore people in the top 500
companies in the next five years by paying a stipend of Rs.60 thousand per
year. Internship will be started from December at a cost of Rs.800 crore for
this program which will be undertaken as a pilot project in 2026-26. Eligible and
interested candidates can apply through www.pmintern ship.mca.gov.in.
Internship will be provided to around 1.25 lakh people in this financial year.

Application Start Date: March 1, 2026
Application End Date: March 31, 2026
Selected Candidates List: April 2026
Company Selection Process: April 2026
Offer Acceptance: April/May 2026
PM Internship 2026 Highlights:
Stipend: ₹5,000 per month
Additional Grant: ₹6,000 (one-time before joining)
Total Financial Assistance: ₹66,000 per year
Program Duration: 1 year
Internship Cost: ₹800 crore for 2026-26
Internships will be offered in the top
500 companies, providing real-world work environments for at least half of
the internship period.
Applicants from families of government employees or with annual income exceeding ₹8 lakh are not eligible.
Graduates from premier institutes like IIT, IIM, or with CA, CMA qualifications are not eligible.
PM Internship 2026 Selection Process:
Shortlisting: Selected candidates will be listed in April 2026
Company Selection: Companies will choose candidates between April 2026. Each candidate can receive up to three offers.

Last date to register online is 31-03-2025.
All interns will be covered under PM
Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, with the
government paying the premium.
