Objective type write test will be conducted.
Exam paper will be givne in English Language only.
There 1/4 negative mark for each wrong answer.

Physical Standards for JKSSB Police SI Recruitment 2026:
I. For Males:
i) Height: 5’-6” (minimum)
ii) Chest girth: 32” (unexpanded)
iii) Chest girth: 33 1/2” (expanded)
II. For Females: Height : 5’-2” ( minimum )
For Gorkha Community 2” height relaxation will be given
Physical Efficiency Tests Details JK SI Jobs:
For Male: Up to 30 years
Long Race: 1600 meters in 6 1/2 minutes
Pushups: 20
Age 30-40 years
Long Race: 1600 meters in 7 1/2 minutes
Pushups: 16
Age above 40 years
Long Race: 1600 meters in 8 1/2 minutes
Pushups: 12
For Female: Up to 30 years
Long Race: 1000 meters in 6 1/2 minutes
Shot put(4Kgs) : 14 1/2 feet in three attempts
Age 30-40 years:
Long Race: 1000 meters in 7 1/2 minutes
Shot put(4Kgs) : 12 1/2 feet in three attempts
Age above 40 years:
Long Race: 1000 meters in 8 1/2 minutes
Shot put(4Kgs) : 10 1/2 feet in three attempts

Application fee is Rs.600 for SC/ST candidates.
Rs.700/- for other candidates.
