IOCL Trade/Technician Apprentice Recruitment 2026:Indian Oil Corporation limited has been released notification to recruit the Trade and Technician Apprentice posts from eligible candidates for Apprenticeship in all India IOCL Refineries. There are total 1720 vacancies available in this current recruitment of IOCL. Apprenticeship will be given in the trades of Laboratory Assistant Chemical Plant and Engineering Disciplines of Civil, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, BSc MPC and ITI Trades of Fitter, Electrician and Accountant, Data Entry Operator trade. For Trade Apprentice posts pay scale is Rs. 7530/-
For Technician Apprentice posts pay scale is Rs. 6970/-
Educational Qualifications for IOCL Recruitment 2026:
For Trade Apprentices ITI qualifications is required For Trade Apprentice the candidates must have qualified 3 yrs. Full time B.Sc (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry).
For Technician Apprentice the candidates must have qualified 3 yrs. Full time Diploma in Refinery & petrochemicals Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical . For Fresher Data Entry Operator DEO Trade-12th pass For DEO Skilled candidates-12th pass with Skill certificate holder in Domestic Data Entry Operator
Age Limits for IOCL Trade Apprentices Recruitment:
As on 30-09-2025 age limits are 18-24 years. For SC/ST 5 years, OBC Candidates 3 years and for PWD candidates 10 years of age relaxation is given.
Selection Process for IOCL DEO, Accountant, Trade/Technician Apprentice Recruitment:
Selection for this IOCL recruitment will be based on written test & personal Interview.
Written Test Pattern: Written test will be 2 hours duration and comprises of Objective Type multiple choice questions given from the topics of 1. Subjective Knowledge 2. General Awareness/Reasoning 3. Logical Ability
