Indian Navy Sailors AA, SSR Recruitment Drive 2026:-Indian Navy invites online applications from the unmarried male candidates for Sailors SSR (2000 Posts) Entry and Sailors AA (500 Posts), August 2026 Batchat INS Chilka and other locations. Selection will be held based on their knowledge in written test and Physical fitness test followed by Medical Test. For Sailors jobs Aspirants must have qualified 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects and Biology, Chemistry/ Computers are optional subjects and for Steward, Chefs, Hygienist jobsMatriculation qualification is required. Person who is applying for Navy Sailors Post should have been born between 01/August/2002 to 31/07/2005 (consider both dates).

For Sailors AA, SSR Jobs Candidates should possess 10+2 or equivalent exam with mathematics and physics subjects. Biology, Chemistry & Computers are optional subjects.

For Stewards, Chefs, Hygienists-Matriculation pass

Indian Navy Recruits candidates based on their performance in written test and fitness in medical and physical tests.

For  Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Candidates should bring their own costumes like shoe and shorts. PFT will consist running, Push -ups , Squat ups.

Candidates are selected/fit during medical examination will permitted for further training.

Permanent body tattoos are not acceptable on any other body parts except on inner face of forearms.

Insurance Cover: Insurance cover (on contribution) of Rs 37.50 lakhs for all sailors is applicable.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for Indian Navy Sailors Jobs Recruitment 2026:

Question paper will be given in Hindi and English languages.
Written exam will be conducted for 100 Marks. Total 100 questions will be given.

2. Maths
3. Science
4.General Knowledge
Syllabus will be Intermediate or 10+2 level only.
Exam Duration is one hour.

PFT-1.6 Km Running to be completed in 7 minutes.
