Age limits for HPSSSB Medical Lab Technician Recruitment 2024:
As on 01-January-2024 candidates upper age limit is 45 years and lower age limit is 18 years and for SC/ST/BC candidates upper age relaxation is given up to 5 years.
Educational Qualifications for Health Services Jobs in HPSSSB Recruitment:
For Medical Laboratory Technician: 10+2 with 1 year DMLT certificate or B.Sc Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and should be registered with HP Para Medical Council.
For Laboratory Assistant: BSc Degree in Forensic Science or BSc Medical with Chemistry or B.Sc. (Medical) Molecular Biology/Bio Technology
For Operation Theatre Assistant: 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and OTA Training Course or B.SC Degree in Medical Technology (Anesthesia & OT Techniques) and must have registered with HP Para Medical Council.
For Ophthalmic Officer : 10+2 with Science 2 years training certificate in Ophthalmic Assistantship OR B.SC Degree in Ophthalmology and should have registered with HP Para Medical Council.

Selection Process for HPSSSB Lab assistant Jobs Recruitment:
Selection for these MLT, Lab Assistant vacancies will be held through written test and persona interview.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
Written Test will be conducted for 200 Marks and Interview for 30 Marks.
Objective type screening test (MCQ) consisting of syllabus of subject / field concerned, General
Knowledge Including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Every day Science, Current Affairs, Logic, General English & General Hindi, Social Science of Matric standard.
120 Questions will be given from Subject Knowledge
80 Questions will be given from General topics
