Age limits for DTE Punjab PPSC Lecturer Posts
Candidates applying for Lecturer post must not be above 37 years and below 18 years as reckoned on 01-07-2018.
Educational Qualifications for DTE Punjab PPSC Lecturer Recruitment
Candidates aspiring to join ‘Lecturer’ Post must be a First-class Graduate or Post-Graduate/Post-Diplomat in the concerned Branch, having secured atleast 55% marks as the overall record. Moreover, for non-technical branches like Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and English beside basic qualifications candidates must also have passed National Eligibility Test (NET) or any equivalent test accredited by UGC.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs 15,600/- to 39,100/- + 5,400/- GP
Other allowances are applicable as per the rules.
Selection Process for DTE Punjab PPSC Lecturer Jobs
Applicants who have successfully registered for Educational Department Post within the stipulated date will be assessed on the basis of Common Competitive Examination followed by Interview.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Written examination will consist of 170 Objective Type Questions divided into 3 sections namely:
1. Logical Reasoning: 140 Questions
2. General Knowledge: 15 Questions
3. Subject concerned: 15 Questions
Each question carries two marks and the time Allotted for the Exam is 170 minutes. Qualifying in the written examination will be followed by Interview carrying a weightage of 60 marks.
Probationary period
Selected candidates will be appointed to the concerned branch Job for a period of 3 yearssubjected to renewal as per his/her performance.
