BSF Selection Process for SI Junior Engineer Electric Recruitment 2026:
Selection for this BSF Sub Inspector/Junior Engineer (Works/Electrical) Recruitment will be held based on written examination, Documentation, Physical Tests, Physical Fitness Test, Medical test.
1. Written Examination consists of two papers.
Paper I: Paper I will be conducted for 100 marks in form of Objective Type Multiple choice questions. The time duration is 02 Hrs.
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions- 25 marks.
General awareness: 25 questions- 25 marks.
General Engineering (Electrical/Civil): 50 questions- 50 marks.
Paper II:paper II consists of Subjective and Conventional Type, will be conducted for 100 marks in 02 Hrs time duration.
Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering: 10 questions- 100 marks.

2. Interview:Candidates who have qualified in Documentation, PET & PST are eligible to attend Interview.
Interview will be conducted for 50 marks.

Physical standard Test (PST) Details:
Height: 165 Cms (Male), 157 Cms (Female).
Chest: 76-81 Cms (Male).
Weight: 50 Kg (Male), for female (According to height but not less than 46 K8s)
Physical Efficiency Test Details for Male candidates:
1600 Meters Running: 8 Minutes
High Jump: 3 Feet 6 inch
Long Jump: 11 Feet
Physical Efficiency Test Details for Female candidates:
800 Meters Running: 5 Minutes
High Jump: 2 Feet 6 inches
Long Jump: 8 Feet
