There are total 6 distinct departments for Soldiers to occupy as per the desired qualification namely:

Candidates applying to Soldier Post must not exceed the upper age of 23 years and not below 17 ½ years as reckoned on 01-08-2025.

Candidates interested to participate in the Army Recruitment Rally must possess the following qualifications:

Soldier General Duty: Passed 10^th class with at least 55 % marks as aggregate.

Soldier Technical: Passed 12^th class with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry & Maths), having secured 50% marks as aggregate.

Soldier Clerk/SCT:Passed 12^th class in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) with 50% marks in each subject.

Soldier (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner): Passed 12^th class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as prime subjects.

Soldier Nursing Assistant Veterinary:Passed 12^th class with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary Rs.20,200/-

Other allowances are admissible as per the norms.

Applicants who have successfully applied are required to appear on the Army Recruitment rally and anticipate the instructions/evaluations process as follows:

i) Running Test: 1.6 Km within 5 Mins 45 secs

ii) Pull ups: Between 6 to 10

iii) 9 Feet Ditch: Need to Qualify

iv) Zig-Zag Balance: Need to Qualify

Candidates qualifying both the Physical Standards and Physical Fitness Test will be subjected to Detailed Medical Examination.

     4.      Written Test (Common Entrance Exam )

Written Test will be conducted for candidates found to be medically fit as per the medical standards. It will consist of Objective Type questions based on syllabus as per the education standards prescribed for each post.
