Sainik School Entrance Exam AISSEE 2026: The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination -2025 notification issued by NTA for entry into military schools across the country on 12-10-2025. The AISSEE entrance examination will be conducted for admission in the 6th and 9th classes of military schools in all over India. Eligibility for AISSEE 2026:
Candidates who are studying 5th grade they are eligible for 6th class AISSEE Exam 2026.
Those who are studying 8thclass they are eligible for applying 9th class AISSE Exam.
Age limits for Entrance Exam for Sainik Schools admission 2026:
For Class 6th Entrance Exam 10-12 years having candidates are eligible to apply.
For Class 9th Entrance Exam 13-15 years of age having candidates are eligible to apply.
Age limit cut off date is 31-03-2026.
Application fee for AISSEE Exam 2026:
For SC/ST students application fee is Rs.700/- and for General/OBC Students application fee is Rs.850/-
Selection Process for Sainik Schools Class 6, Class 9 Admission:
Merit list will be prepared based on marks scored in the AISSEE entrance test. The final selection will be done after the medical examinations are conducted.
Exam Pattern for AISSEE 2026:
For 6th class entrance written exam will be conducted for 300 marks.
For 9th class entrance written exam will be conducted for 400 marks.
How many Sainik Schools in India?
There are total 33 Sainik Schools are in all Over India.
Recently 19 new Sainik Schools are approved.
Merit list Process for Sainik Schools Admission 2026:
Based on Sainik Schools Entrance Exam marks only merit list will be prepared for these AISSEE Exam.
If any two students get equal marks preference will be given for Mathematicssubject marks.
If still marks are same then Intelligence test marks will be considered for 6thclass and English marks will be considered for 9th class marks.
Even these are same then language marks are considered for 6th class and General Science marks will be considered for 9th marks.
If all the above same are then finally students age will be considered. Less age limit having candidates only considered for merit list.
