AP LAWCET 2025: The State Council of Higher Education has recently announced the commencement of the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET)/Post Graduate LawCET (AP PGL SET)-2025. Scheduled to be administered by Sri Padmavati of Mahila VisvaVidyalaya in Tirupati, this exam facilitates admissions to various law programs in affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26.

The AP LAWCET/AP PGL SET-2025 encompasses admission to LLB (5-year/3-year) and LLM programs.

 

Andhra Pradesh AP LAWCET PGLCET 2025 Law Courses Admission Eligibility Criteria:

For 3 years LLB Course-Degree/PG with 45% marks for OC, 42% of BC, 40% for SC/ST

For 5 Years Law Degree Course-Inter with 45% marks for OC, 42% of BC, 40% for SC/ST

For LLM Course-LLB/BL 3/5 years degree qualification required

AP LAWCET 2025 Exam Syllabus Pattern:

AP LAWCET Exam will be conducted for 120 marks.

Total 120 questions will be given.

Each question carries one mark.

Exam duration is 90 minutes.

AP LAWCET Exam Pattern is

Part–A: General Knowledge and Mental Ability-30 Marks

Part – B: Current Affairs-30 marks

Part–C: Aptitude for the Study of Law-60 marks

AP PGL CET Exam Syllabus Pattern:

AP PGL CET Consists of two parts. Total 120 questions will be given and each question carries one mark.

Part-A: Jurisprudence-20, Constitutional Law-20-40 marks

Part-B: Public International Law 16, Mercantile Law 16, Labour Law 16, Crimes and Torts 16, and IPR and Other Laws 16-80 Marks

AP LAWCET 2025 Application Fees:

For LLB courses, the fee stands at Rs. 900/- for OC candidates, Rs. 850/- for BCs, and Rs. 800/- for SC/ST candidates. For LLM courses, the fee is Rs. 1000/- for OC candidates, Rs. 950/- for BCs, and Rs. 900/- for SC/ST candidates.

AP LAWCET 2025 Exam Mode:

The entrance exam will be conducted in objective mode. For LLB courses, it will be available in both English and Telugu mediums, whereas the LLM exam will be solely in English.

 

AP LAWCET 2025 Important Dates:

Online application period	March 25 to April 27, 2025.
Application deadline with a late fee of Rs. 1000	April 28 to May 4, 2025.
