Educational Qualifications for UPSC IES/ ISS Govt Jobs 2025: 

Indian Economic Service:  Candidate must have qualified Post graduate Degree in Economics/ Econometrics/Applied Economics/ business Economics from any Indian recognized university.

Indian Statistical Service:  Candidate must have qualified bachelors Degree in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics or Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics from any Indian recognized university.

Age Limit for IES/ ISS jobs of UPSC Recruitment 2025:

Candidate Age limit should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 1^st August- 2025.

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates is 05 years, for OBC candidates is 03 years and 07 years for Government servants.

Application fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs.200/-.

 

UPSC Selection Process for UPSC IES/ ISS Vacancies 2025:

Selection for these UPSC vacancies will be held based on Written Examination and Viva Voice by the Commission.

Part 1-Written exam 1000 Marks
Part 2-Viva Voce-200 Marks

Pay Scale:

Approximate pay scale for IES/ISS posts is Rs.60000-100000/-
