UPSC NDA and NA Exam Notification-2 2025 Apply Online: Union Public Service Commission of India has been released examination notification for the Under Graduate Program of National Defense Academy and Naval Academy phase-2 of 2024. Course commence from January 2026. The eligible candidates are advised to apply online to take the examination. There are 406 vacancies are available in NDA and NA centers. National Defense Academy is having vacancies of 370, in which 208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 120 for Air Force. Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Scheme) is having vacancies of 34 in the scheme of 10+2 pattern qualified cadets. NDA is the first academy which is having tri services of Army, Air Force and Navy. The last date for applying online for UPSC NDA and NA Exam Notification-1 2025 is 31-12-2024 by 6 PM. Online application starts from 11-12-2024.

Educational Qualifications for UPSC NA and NA Exam Notification 2025:

For the Army wing any discipline in 10+2 format for any recognized board or institution of state or central government.  And for Air Force and Navy wings there are only science stream candidates of 10+2 stream from any recognized board or institute of State or Central government. Candidates are eligible to apply online.

Age Limits for UPSC NDA and NA Exam 2025:

For all the posts minimum age limit is 16 years and the upper age limit is 19. Only unmarried candidates, who are born in between 02nd Jul, 2006 and 1st Jul, 2009 are eligible to apply online.

Physical Standards for UPSC NA and NDA Exam 2025:

The candidates who are applying for NDA and NA exam they must ensure their physical fitness as well as mental fitness. Those who are qualified written test those students will call for a physical test.

The candidates must be fit in the physical conditions of Running 2.4 km in 15 minutes, Minimum 20 push ups and sit ups, Minimum 8 chin ups, 3-4 meter of rope climbing.

1. Running 2.4 km in 15 minutes

2. Minimum 20 pushups

3. Minimum 20 sit ups

4. Minimum 8 chin ups

5. 3-4 meter of rope climbing.

Examination Fee for UPSC NDA and NA Exam 2025:

The candidate belongs to SC/ST, Ex servicemen, Sons of JCOs, NCOs are no need to pay the exam fees. But the candidates belong to General and OBC are has to pay the amount of Rs.100/- through online payment of cash payment

Pay Scale:

Pay Scale will be Rs.25500 to Rs.81100/-

Siachen Allowance Rs 42,500/- per month. 

Uniform allowance. Rs 20,000/- per year.

Military Service Pay(MSP) Rs.15500 per month

Flying Allowance-Rs.25000/- per month

and other allowances are applicable based on post.

  

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for UPSC NDA NA Exam 2025:

Written exam will be conducted for 900 marks.
Written exam consists of 2 papers.
Paper 1-Mathematics-300 Marks-150 Minutes
Paper 2-General Ability Test-600 Marks-150 Minutes
Part ‘A’—ENGLISH (Maximum Marks—200)
Part ‘B’—GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (Maximum Marks—400)

Application Process for UPSC NDA and NA Exam 2024:

The candidates has to login to the official website of www.upsconline.nic.in. And fill the given details carefully. Candidates are must have to specify which wing they are going to apply. Tick a mark on Army or Air Force or Navy. Admit cards will be available online 20 days before the exam date.

Date of Written Examination: 13-04–2025

Results Date of UPSC NDA and NA Examination: Probably in the month of May 2025 only result will be announced.

UPSC NDA Exam Admit Card 2024: The dates of the exam conducted by the UPSC to fill up the vacancies in the defence sector have been announced. The National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (1) 2025 and the Combined Defence Service Examination (1) will be held on April 13, 2025 at major centres across the country.
