JKSSB Sub Inspector of Police Jobs Selection Process:
Selection for this Sub Inspector posts will be on basis of Written Exam, Physical Standards Tests and Physical Efficiency Tests only. Exam syllabus will be degree level.
JKSSB Police SI Exam Syllabus Pattern:
Objective type write test will be conducted.
Exam paper will be givne in English Language only.
There 1/4 negative mark for each wrong answer.
For NCC candidates bonus marks will be givne as per the norms.

Physical Standards for JKSSB Police SI Recruitment 2024:
I. For Males:
i) Height: 5’-6” (minimum)
ii) Chest girth: 32” (unexpanded)
iii) Chest girth: 33 1/2” (expanded)
II. For Females: Height : 5’-2” ( minimum )
For Gorkha Community 2” height relaxation will be given
Physical Efficiency Tests Details JK SI Jobs:
For Male: Up to 30 years
Long Race: 1600 meters in 6 1/2 minutes
Pushups: 20
Age 30-40 years
Long Race: 1600 meters in 7 1/2 minutes
Pushups: 16
Age above 40 years
Long Race: 1600 meters in 8 1/2 minutes
Pushups: 12
For Female: Up to 30 years
Long Race: 1000 meters in 6 1/2 minutes
Shot put(4Kgs) : 14 1/2 feet in three attempts
Age 30-40 years:
Long Race: 1000 meters in 7 1/2 minutes
Shot put(4Kgs) : 12 1/2 feet in three attempts
Age above 40 years:
Long Race: 1000 meters in 8 1/2 minutes
Shot put(4Kgs) : 10 1/2 feet in three attempts

Application fee is Rs.600 for SC/ST candidates.
