Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Veterinary Assistant Surgeon: Candidates must possess a B.V.Sc & AH degree from a recognized institution.
• Must have registerd with Veterinary Council of India. 

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 35 years as of 01-01-2024.
• Age relaxations are applicable for SC/ST/BC candidates. 

Physical Standards

The minimum physical standards for candidates across all categories are as follows:

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500/-.

Selection Process for ITBP Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2024:

Physical Events Tests Details:

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts includes the following events:

For Male Candidates

1. Race (100 Meters): Must be completed within 16 seconds.
2. Race (800 Meters): Must be completed within 3 minutes 45 seconds.
3. Long Jump: Minimum distance of 3.5 meters (3 chances allowed).
4. Shot Put: Minimum distance of 4.5 meters with a 7.26 kg shot.

For Female Candidates

1. Race (100 Meters): Must be completed within 18 seconds.
2. Race (800 Meters): Must be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds.
3. Long Jump: Minimum distance of 3 meters (3 chances allowed).

Written Exam Pattern:

ITBP VAS Exam will be conducted for 100 marks.

Total 100 questions will be given.
