AP Edcil Counselors Jobs 2024: The Andhra Pradesh Comprehensive Education Project, in collaboration with EdCIL India Limited, has released a notification for the recruitment of 255 Career and Mental Health Counselors. These positions will be filled on a contractual basis across 26 districts in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, two PMU members and coordinators will also be appointed.

• Mental Health Counselors: Below 35 years.
• PMU Members & Coordinators: Below 45 years.

Qualification Details for AP Edcil Recruitment 2024:

For Mental Health Counselors

• Educational Qualifications:
  • M.Sc. Psychology / M.A. Psychology
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
  • Preference for candidates with a Diploma in Career Guidance and Counseling.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of counseling experience.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Telugu (reading and writing).
  • Expertise in face-to-face counseling, career guidance, and mental health support.

For PMU Members & Coordinators

• Educational Qualifications:
  • M.Sc. Psychology / M.Phil. Psychology
  • Master’s in Psychiatric Social Work, Guidance, or Counseling preferred.
• Experience:
  • Prior relevant field experience is essential.

Pay Scale

• Appointments are contractual, with the initial term lasting until April 30, 2025, extendable based on performance and requirements till April 2026.
• Salary details will be as per EdCIL and AP Samagra Shiksha Project guidelines.

Selection Process for AP Edcil Mental Health Counselors Recruitment 2024

1. Screening:
   • Shortlisting based on educational qualifications and experience.
2. Written Test:
   • Candidates will undergo a written examination.
3. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates from the test will be called for an interview.
4. Final Selection:
   • A waiting list will be maintained, and replacements will be drawn from it as needed.
