University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test June 2024 (UGC-NET) Exam Dates Finalized

UGC NET Exam Schedule 2024: The UGC-NET exam is conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, Ph.D. admissions, and to qualify for Assistant Professor posts in universities. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that the UGC-NET exam will be held in two sessions in January 2025 from 1st to 19th at various main centers. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all 83 subjects.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Pattern:  

The exam will consist of two papers, both of which will have objective type, multiple-choice questions.  

- Paper 1: 50 questions, 100 marks  

- Paper 2: 100 questions, 200 marks  

The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.

NTA UGC NET Hall Ticket 2024:

Candidates who had applied for this examination can now go through the UGC NET website and download the admit card. To download admit card candidate must have the Application Number. Using application number, Date of Birth and Security cod candidates my download the admit card/ hall ticket for this UCG NET 2024. You can also easily download the admit card from/ hall ticket through the direct link given in this news. All you have to do is click on the following link and enter your application/ registration number and DOB and log in. For your convenience we are also updated the exam schedule and exam syllabus pdf links.

If a candidate is not able to download the admit card, he / she can contact NTA helpline number between 10 am to 5 pm on working days.

UGC NET Exam Date 2024:

The UGC NET exam by NTA will be conducted in single day with two sessions.
