APPSC Group-2 Exam Syllabus 2023: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released a new syllabus for the Group-II written examination. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) will select the candidates for Group-2 vacancy through two phases of written tests for a total of 450 marks. In the first phase, the screening test for 150 marks. The APPSC Group-2 mains exam will be conducted for 300 marks in the second phase. APPSC Group-2 Mains Exam consists of 2 papers. Only those who qualify in the prelims exam will be eligible for the mains.

As per the revised syllabus and examination procedure a new topic of Indian society has been added to the prelims exam syllabus. There will be a preliminary examination of 150 marks. The screening test consists of questions from Indian history, geography, Indian society, current affairs and mental ability topics. There are two papers in the mains exam. Each will be of 150 marks (a total of 300).

Paper-1 deals with the social and cultural history of Andhra Pradesh and the Constitution of India. In Paper-II, questions will be asked from India, AP economy, science and technology topics.

 

APPSC Group-2 Prelims Exam Syllabus Pattern:

APPSC Group-2 Prelims Exam 2024 will be conducted for 150 marks. Total 150 questions will be given.

Each question carries one mark.

AP Group-2 Mains Exam Consists of 2 papers.

APPSC Mains Paper 1 Exam consists of 150 questions.

Total 150 MCQs will be given and each question carries one mark.
