Age limits for Delhi Judicial Service Exam 2023
Candidates applying for Judicial Services Post at Delhi High Court must not exceed the upper age of 32 years as reckoned on 01-01-2023.
Educational Qualifications for Delhi Judicial Services
Candidates interested to join Delhi High Court as Advocate must possess Law Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
Pay Scale
Candidates selected through Delhi Judicial Service Exam will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs. 77840/- to 1,36,500/-
Application Fee
General candidates are required to deposit an application fee of Rs 1000/- payable through online mode only.
For SC/ST/PH candidates, application fee is Rs 200/-
Selection Process for Delhi Judicial Service Exam 2023
Candidates who are interested to join Judicial Services through DJSE will be assessed on the basis of Written Exam to be conducted in two stages namely Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination followed by Viva-Voce test.
DHC Delhi High Court Judicial Service Exam Syllabus Pattern:
Prelims exam will be conducted for 200 marks.
Prelims Exam duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.
Prelims Exam Syllabus topics are:
General legal knowledge and aptitude of the candidate,
candidate’s power of expression, flair in English.
- knowledge of objective type legal problems and their solutions covering The Constitution of India;
- The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908;
- The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973;
- The Indian Penal Code;
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872;
- The Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008;
- The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996;
- The Indian Evidence Act, 1872;
- The Specific Relief Act, 1963;
- The Limitation Act, 1963;
- The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and The Commercial Courts Act, 2015 will be included
Mains Exam will be conducted for 850 marks.
