OSSC Junior Librarian Exam Syllabus:
Candidate selection will be based on marks secured in written test and Computer practical skill test.
1. Written Examination: Total marks 100 and time duration is 1 ½ Hrs.
Distribution of marks as follows:
Odia language: 10 marks.
General English: 10 marks.
General Studies: 30 marks.
Library and Information Science: 50 marks.
2. Computer Practical Skill test: Time duration of Skill test is 30 minutes and total marks are 30. The qualifying marks for this test are 15.
Candidates will be called for computer practical skill test on merit basis of written marks.
This test is to know basic Knowledge and skill of the candidate on computer application.
Topics to be covered are Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point, MS Access.
