RRB Group D Posts, NPTC Jobs, Steno Exam Starts in December 2020
RRB Jobs Exam date: The Railways has made a key announcement on the examinations to be conducted for the recruitment of a large number of jobs. It has revealed that the examination process will start from December 15 for the recruitment of 1.40 lakh jobs across the country. To this end, Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav spoke to the media in Delhi. The application process for the recruitment of 1.4 lakh jobs in the three divisions has already been completed. The Railways had given notification two years ago for 1,40,640 jobs under three categories in the Railways. It is learned that over 2.4 crore people have applied.
However, VK Yadav said that although all the candidates were required to appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT), the exams were postponed due to corona. The full schedule will be announced soon. He said that with the JEE and NEET examinations currently being conducted across the country, it is hoped to launch recruitment tests for railway jobs which have been stalled due to corona. It is said that guidelines are being formulated in this regard.
According to a previous notification issued by the Railways, there were 35,208 posts of guards, office clerks and commercial clerks under the Non-Technical Popularity Category (NTPC); 1663 Steno posts under the Ministerial category; Also 1,03,769 posts such as track management and pointmen will be replaced.
