• For Computer Teachers -MCA/MSc Computers, BCA/B.SC Computers/Any Degree with DOEACC “B” or “C” Level certificate.
• For TGT Teacher-Four years integrated education degree approved by NCERT or Bachelors degree with B.Ed/Bh.Ed/BA B.Ed/Shiksha Shastri and should pass OSSTET/CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test)
• For Art/Music Teacher Music Senior Secondary School Certificate or Intermediate with 50% and degree in Music or its equivalent.
• For all the posts candidates must have studies Odia upto 10th class. Candidates have to teach in Odia and English medium.

Written Exam Pattern for Trained Graduate Teacher, PET, Computer Teacher of OAVS:

• The online test will comprise of Part-I, II and III . All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
• The test will be of 200 minutes duration. Each question will carry 1 mark. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• Part-I of the question paper will consist of 40 Multiple Choice Questions in the subjects English (20) and Odia (20) carrying 1 mark each.
• Part-II of the test will comprise of 30 questions in Current Affairs and 30 questions in Reasoning.
• Part-III of the test will comprise of 100 questions in Subject content and Methodology
• Part-II and III of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.
• For preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be test 70%(Parts II,III), and Interview 30%
• For PET, PGT Interview-40 Marks
• For Art/Music/Computer Teacher Interview-20 Marks
