Age limits for Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment 2016:

As on 01-02-2016 more than 25 years of age group candidates are eligible to apply.

Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment Educational Qualifications:

For the posts of General Equipment Operator the candidate must have passed Class-VIII. Must have a Heavy Motor Vehicle driving license. Must be able to operate Bulldozers/ pay loaders / Excavators and should have minimum knowledge of relevant safety rules.

Preference will be given to the candidates of Madhyamik Pass with national Trade Certificate in Mechanical / Wireman / Fitter / Electrician / Mechanic (MV) / Mechanic (Diesel) trade.

Minimum 4 years of experience required in the specific trade.

For the post of Supervisor must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination.

The candidates who are completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institution/School or College will be preferred. 5 years of experience required in the relevant field.

Pay Scale for Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment:

Pay scale is Rs.17,900-/ & Rs.24,000/- per month.
