Essential Qualifications for Electrician Grade 1 Recruitment Karnataka PSC 2016:

1) Must have passed SSLC or any equivalent examination and

 2) Must have passed a two years course in Electrical Trade from an Industrial Training Institute recognized by the Government resulting in National Trade Certificate (NTC) 3) Must have completed one year Apprenticeship Training in any Industry resulting in National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)

Age limits for Karnataka PSC Electrician Grade 1 Recruitment 2016:

For general candidates minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 35 years.

For SC/ST/Cat-1 candidate’s upper age limit is 40 years and For 2a/2b/3a/3b upper age limit is 38 years.

Pay Scale for KPSC Electrician Grade 1 Recruitment 2016: 

Pay band is Rs.12500-24000/-

Karnataka Electrician Grade 1 Recruitment Selection Process:

Selection for this KPSC Electrician Grade 1 recruitment is held based on Competitive written examination on computer based only.

Application fee for Electrician Grade 1 in Town Municipalities/ Municipalities KPSC Examination:

For the candidates of General, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b examination fee is Rs.300/- for SC/ST/CAT1 candidates examination fees is Rs.25/- only.

Exam fee has to be paid pay in the E payment centers of post offices before 06-05-2016.

Written Test examination process for Karnataka PSC Electrician Grade 1 Recruitment:

Competitive examination will be of Objective Multiple Choice type and there will be negative valuation. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Written test consists of two papers.

1. General Paper-Consists of 200 marks with 90 minutes duration.

2. Specific Paper- Consists of 200 marks with 120 minutes duration.
