JoSAA Counseling dates: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) this time will fill a total of 50,798 seats through counseling in IITs, NITs, Triple IITs and other centrally funded technical institutes across the country. Of these, 2,673 seats in IITs and NITs are reserved exclusively for girls under the supernumerary quota. This time, 16,053 seats in 23 IITs, 23,506 seats in 31 NITs and 26 triple-IIT seats are being filled by JoSAA out of a total of 101 educational institutions. The first batch of seats will be allotted on October 17. Online registration for JoSAA Counseling is started on 06-10-2020 and last date to register online is 15-10-2020. Those candidates who are appeared for the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced they are only eligible to register online at JoSAA website of https://josaa.nic.in/. Through JoSAA only students will get admission in to IITs or IIITs or NITs or GFTIs and other institutes

JoSAA Counseling 2020: Josa (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has started counseling for admissions in IITs, NITs and other technical education institutes in the country from October 06. Students who have achieved ranks in JEE are required to register for the courses in the respective institutions by October 15. Seats are then allocated to students. The process will take place in six stages till November 7. The allocation of the first stage of seats will be announced on October 17, officials said. Students have to report online and pay the fee. 698 program available in all the institutes. some institutes are offering 5 years Engineering degree also.

How to Check available Seats in JoSAA Counseling?
Just open JoSAA official website of https://josaa.nic.in and click on left side Seat Matrix option. A new page will be open along with Institute name, community wise vacant seats.
You can also select Institute wise vacancies or Engineering discipline wise vacancies.

How to register online for JoSAA Counseling?
To register online for JoSAA counseling you must have your JEE Mains or Advanced Application number along with password.
- Open Official website of JoSAA at www.josaa.nic.in.
- There you can see Online Registration and Choice Filling link.
- Click on it and a new online registration page will be open.
- Here you need to enter your JEE Application number and password, security pin and then click on login.
- If you forgot the password then click on forgot password and follow the instructions.

JoSAA Counseling Fee 2020:
Those candidates who confirmed the seat they have to pay the acceptance fee of Rs.35000/- for general candidates and Rs.15000/- for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates.
For more details you can refer the JoSAA website. You can the exact fee after the seat confirmation. And pay the fee through E Challan at bank or online only.
