For Assistant Executive Engineer (Gen/GTO) Posts-Must have Full time B.E/B. Tech Electrical/ Electronic/Telecommunication/Mechanical Engineering Degree from any AICTE recognized university or institution or its equivalent.

For Assistant Engineer AE (Civil) Posts-Full Time B.E/B.Tech Civil Engineering Degree.

For Junior Electrical Engineer (GTO/GEN) Posts-Must have three years diploma in Full time Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering from any AICTE Government recognized institution.

Junior Engineer Civil-Must have three years Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Assistant Operator and SBO Grade II posts -ITI Trade Certificate in Electrician

Junior Lineman Posts-ITI-Electrician/Wireman trade certificate is required.

For Fitter Posts-ITI Fitter Trade certificate is required

Pay Scale for JUVNL Assistant Engineer Civil, Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical), ITI Jobs:

For Assistant Executive Engineer-Rs.9300-34800/- with GP Rs.5500/-

For Junior Engineer-Rs.9300-34800/- with GP Rs.4500/-

For Assistant Operator, SBO Grade II, Fitter, Junior Line Man posts pay scale is Rs.5200-20200 with GP of Rs.2700/-

Probationary Period: 3 Years probationary period for all the posts.

Selection for these vacancies will based on Computer Based Written test (80%) and interview(20%).

JUVNL Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

For Assistant Executive Engineer(AEE), Assistant Engineer(AE-Civil), Junior Engineer(Electrical/Civil) Posts

Written Test/Exam Will Be CBT (Computer Based Test) Mode.

Exam Duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.

Written test paper will be in two parts consists of 125 with 500 Marks

Part 1-75 Questions-90 Minutes

Part 2-50 Questions-60 Minutes

For each question 4 marks will be given and for each wrong answer 1 Negative mark will be deducted.

Note 1: No Interview for Junior Engineer Cadre posts written test will be give 100% weightage.

For Technical Staff

Assistant Operator, Fitter, SBO Gr II, Junior Line Attendant Posts Only written test (100% weightage) will be conducted in the form of Pen and Paper mode and No Negative marks for Technical Staff Posts.
