Skilled Support Staff, Technician Posts-2016: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has a premier institute of The Central Sheep and Wool Research and is engaged in training, research and extension activities on rabbits and sheep. Under the Government of India, Department of Agriculture
Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture,   ICAR is an independent organization. The CSWRI will develop the skills of farmers for sheep and rabbit production and utilization of

technology, improving knowledge, skills through training, contact service, consultancy, incentive and

reward so the skills developed them very useful when they are handling a form. As part of the

technology transfer programmed CSWRI also provides vaccination, Artificial insemination, drenching and some other services.

The ICAR- Central Sheep & Wool Research Institute has been released recruitment notification for the 27 posts of Skilled Support Staff and Technician.

Applications are invited for the below posts:

1. Skilled Support Staff:

•                 Number of vacancies: 15;
•                 Qualification: Matriculation of SSC or ITs equivalent with ITI certification
•                 Salary: (5200-20200) PB-1 + GP-1800/-

2. Technician T-1(Laboratory) Cat-1:

•                 Number of vacancies: 7;
•                 Qualification: Matriculation of SSC or ITs equivalent
•                 Salary: (5200-20200) PB-1 + GP-2000/-

3. Technician T-1 (Junior Computer Operator) Cat-1:

•                 Number of vacancies: 01;
•                 Qualification: Matriculation of SSC or ITs equivalent
•                 Salary: (5200-20200) PB-1 + GP-2000/-

4. Technician T-1 (Field) Cat-1:

•                 Number of vacancies: 01;
•                 Qualification: Matriculation of SSC or ITs equivalent
•                 Salary: (5200-20200) PB-1 + GP-2000/-

5. Technical Assistant T-3 (Laboratory) Cat-II:

•                 Number of vacancies: 02;
•                 Qualification: A bachelor degree from agriculture specialization or agriculture                            relevant to Social Science is mandatory from any recognized university.
•                 Salary: (5200-20200) PB-1 + GP-2800/-

6. Technical Assistant T-3(Farm Engineer) Cat-II:

•                 Number of vacancies: 01;
•                 Qualification: A bachelor degree from agriculture engineering specialization or three                  years diploma from any recognized university.
•                 Salary: (5200-20200) PB-1 + GP-2800/-

Age Limits for CSWRI Skilled Support Staff and Technician posts:

                           The lower and upper age limit is 18-30 years for Technician/T-1 & Technical Assistant/T-3 and 18-25 Years for skilled Support Staff.  For SC/ST age relaxation is 5 years, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for persons with disabilities.

For the applicant posted in Lakshdweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, States/Union Territories in the North-Eastern Region, Minicoy and Amindeivi Islands, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Pangi is 05.02.2016. Selection Process for ICAR- Central Sheep & Wool Research Institute (CSWRI) jobs:

Selection process will be in single stage that is a written test. Based on merit final list will be prepared. Written test will be conducted for 100 marks and it is objective type paper.
