EXAM SYLLABUS RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARD 2016

Indian Railway RRB Exam Syllabus 2016: Indian railways are ranked 4th in the world railways. Indian Railways are the top employer in India having 15 lakhs of employees and ranked 8th in the world employers. Every day 90 million people are reaching home through Indian Railways. Nearly eight thousand railway stations and a track length of 70 thousand, daily 18500 trains are running in

India.  This is the reason Indian railways are becoming one of the biggest networks in the world.

Railway Recruitment Board has been published notification for the posts of Group-C Non Technical Popular with a large number of 18252 for the graduate qualified. The last date for applying online date is 25-January-2016. Exam date is not at announced by RRB, but the Probable exam date will be in between in the months of March and May-2016. RRB Railway Exam Pattern 2016:

The online common Computer Based Test will be conducted for 100 marks. This exam will be conducted in the form of multiple choice questions. Time duration is 90 minutes. There is a Negative mark for each wrong answer.  For each incorrect answer 0.33 marks will be deducted.

There are four sections in RRB Exam.

1. Arithmetic Ability consists of 25 marks.

2. General Awareness consists of 20 marks.

3. General Science consists of 30 Marks

4. General Intelligence consists of 25 Marks.

General Awareness for RRB online Exam syllabus:

General awareness requires knowledge in Budget & Economy, Books, Authors, Current affairs, 5 and 3 year plan, Abbreviations, Sports, Science & Inventions-Discovery, Important days, Awards & Honors, Important years, Countries capitals, National and International News, Satellite technology, meetings, etc..

General Sciences for Railway RRB Exam Syllabus:

The section of General science with regard to science questions will be asked from 10th and inter level topics in Physics, Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology. From the social sciences General Studies in Geography, History, Politics, Economy, will be asked.

Railway RRB Exam Arithmetic Syllabus:

Number systems, integers, natural numbers, fractions, average, prime numbers, Ratio & proportion, marginal, percentages, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Streams, Profit & Loss, LCM & HCM, Time and distance, Time and work, Algebra, Decimal Fractions, Simplifications, Permutations and Combinations, Random variables, Probability, volumes should also be considered. Data interpretation with respect to the Pie-Charts, Ven-Diagrams, graphs, Bars, tables, etc. Will be asked.

Railway RRB Exam Syllabus for General Intelligence and Reasoning:

Verbal and non-verbal reasoning elements of the series, analogy, odd men out, The wrong number series, Coding, Decoding, High level reasoning, decision making, Assumptions, Age calculations, Number ranking, statements and conclusions, etc. And general Intelligence concepts of visualization, number puzzles, Mirror Image, water, image, paper cuttings related questions have to prepare.

Note: Exam will be conducted in English/Hindi and the local language based on the state which the candidate belongs to. At the time of online application, you have to specify the language.
