                The home guard volunteers initially have to work for 3 years. Based on the performance service will be extended up to 6 years in the form of 2+1+1+2 years.

Essential Qualifications for Delhi Home Guards Recruitment 2016:

For female candidates age limits are 20-42 years

Physical Standards for Home Guard:

For male minimum height is 162 cm,

For female minimum height is 150 cms.

Delhi Home Guards Recruitment Selection Process:

Selection for this DELHI Home Guard recruitment is held in three stages.

1. Written Test

2. Physical Efficiency Test

3. Medical Test

Application processing fee for DELHI Home Guard Recruitment:

For all the candidates application fee is Rs.100/- by paying money directly at the District offices of Home Guard you can get the applications. The candidate has to pay the respective amount in the form of demand draft in the favor of “DDO Directorate General of Home Guards” payable at Chennai.

Documents to be submitted along with Home Guard Application:

Valid identity proof and address proof.

Residence Certificate.

CBSE or its equivalent qualified certificate

Written Test examination process:

The candidate must have qualified the written test and Physical tests.

Examination will be conducted for 80 marks with 60 minutes duration.

Paper will be given in the both languages of English and Hindi.

Written test will be CBSE syllabus based.

1. General Awareness

2. Mathematics & Science

3. Reasoning Aptitude

Preference will be given to the NCC candidates and those who are having already three years of experience in Home Guard Delhi. Additional marks will allotted to them

NCC A Certificate – 2 Marks

NCC B Certificate – 3 Marks

NCC C Certificate – 5 Marks

Home Guards with 3 years experience is – 15 Marks

Written test will be in the form of Objective type multiple choice questions.

Physical Efficiency Test for Home Guards:

All the male and female candidates have to clear all the three events.
