Salary for Constable posts is Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- and Grade pay of Rs. 5,600/- plus allowances admissible as per Assam Forest Govt rules.
Age limits for Forest Department Assam SRPF Constable Vacancies 2017:
Age limits for SRPF Constable posts is 18 years to 25 years as on 01-January-2017 (i.e. candidate must have been born between 01/01/1999 to 01/01/1992)
Five years of age relaxation is admissible for SC, ST (H), ST (P) candidates.

Height
For Gen/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC male candidates 162.56 cm, for female 154.94 cms.
For ST (H, P), SC male candidates is 160.02 cms and for Female 152.40 cms.
Chest (for men only)
For Gen/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC candidates is 80 cms (Normal), 85 cms (Expanded)
For ST (H, P) is 78 cms (Normal), 83 cms (Female)
