AP, Telangana Scholarship NTSE Exam 2021: The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is conducted annually with the aim of testing students’ mastery of the basics of the subjects and financially rewarding those who demonstrate talent in them. Scholarships from Intermediate to PhD will be awarded if selected in this examination conducted at the national level under the auspices of NCERT. Two thousand people across the country receive these. NTSE is a boon for talented students from poor, rural areas. The announcement was made in the Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana). Candidates can achieve better results if they focus on preparation from now on. NTSE takes place in two phases. The first is State Level NTSE Exam Stage-1 and the second is Stage-2 national level.

Those who are studying 10th class for academic year 2020-21 they are only eligible to apply for this NTSE Exam 2021. State Level National Talent Search Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

Stage-1 (State Level Talent Search Examination) at the state level is a complete objective type test. It consists of two papers. The first paper is the Mental Ability Test. The second paper is the Scholastic Aptitude Test. Each paper consists of 100 questions. One mark for each question. There is no negative marking. The second paper asks questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, History, Geography, Political Science and Economics. Each question has 4 options. The duration of each paper is two hours.

NTSE Exam Syllabus Subject wise Marks:

Mental Ability Test: Students’ reasoning ability is tested in the Mental Ability Test (MAT). Questions on Analogies, Classification, Series, Coding – De-coding, Problem Solving.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): Questions come from the tenth grade syllabus in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) section. The question paper will be in Telugu, Hindi, English and Urdu.

Stage 2 NTSE Exam Pattern:

Students who qualify for the Stage-1 exam will have the opportunity to write the Stage-2 (NTSE). The Stage-2 question paper is similar to the Stage-1. The level of questions increases. The questionnaire is designed by NCERT. No negative marks. Achieving minimum qualifying marks by paper is mandatory.

Application fee for State Level NTSE Exam 2020:

AP students have to pay the examination fee of Rs.200 online through APCFMS and apply. Telangana students have to pay Rs.100 in the form of chalan at the treasury branch.

Apply through the BSE AP bse.ap.gov.in website for Andhra Pradesh Students. For Telangana Students apply through bse.telangana.gov.in website.

Submit the Attested copy of Printed Nominal Roll along with all the relevant documents in your concerned DEO’s Office and preserve a copy of Nominal Roll for future purpose.

How many scholarships are offering by NCERT through NTSE Exam?:

Two thousand people will be selected for the scholarship on the basis of merit and reservation from the list of eligible candidates. Of the total scholarships, 15 per cent are for SCs, 7.5 per cent for STs, 4 per cent for the disabled and 27 per cent for OBCs. 10 per cent will be allocated to candidates from economically backward communities. Those selected will be paid Rs. 1250 per month for Intermediate and Rs. 2000 per month for degree and PG courses. Scholarships are awarded to PhD holders as per UGC regulations. Students selected at the state level this year are required to appear for the exam at the national level on June 13, 2021.
