Amravati: Intermediate examinations postponed in Andhra Pradesh. State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced that the decision to postpone the examinations was taken following the High Court’s suggestion to reconsider the conduct of inter-examinations. The views of the parents of the students have also been considered. The Minister said the dates of inter-examinations will be announced once the conditions in the state are resolved. We wanted to conduct tests in a safe environment as a government that was responsible for the lives of children and their future. He said arrangements have also been made for this purpose unprecedented. Students and their parents are worried about the growing number of covid cases in the country and the state. The Minister said that the decision has been taken to postpone the examinations considering the matter as a public government.
Initially AP Government is decided to conduct the Intermediate exams from May 5 2021. Most of the students and their parents are not interested with the government decision. Even opposition parties are also suggesting canceling the exams and they moved to AP High Court to postpone or cancel the exams. AP High Court suggested to government consider to conducting the exams once again in this Covid 19 situation. AP high Court hearing regarding this is on Monday May 3 2021.
