Hyderabad: The state government has taken a crucial decision to cancel inter-second year examinations in Telangana. The state government has already cancelled the first year examinations in the wake of corona situation. The latest, second year exams have also been cancelled. Inter-examinations were discussed in the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. No announcement was made on this after the Cabinet meeting. Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy officially announced on Wednesday evening.
The minister said the results would be declared on the basis of first year marks. A committee on allocation of marks will be formed soon and procedures will be formulated. The results will be revealed on the basis of the committee’s decision. The Minister said the decision was taken keeping in mind the future of the students in view of the corona situation. Sabita Indra Reddy said that those who want to take the exams can write after things getting better.
