New Delhi: As per the government as many as 9,79,000 jobs are available in various departments of the central government. As on March 1 2021, the total number of jobs sanctioned in all departments was 40.35 lakh. Nearly 10 lakhs vacancie are available in Central Government. This was announced by Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh in the Lok Sabha.
“A total of 40,35,203 jobs have been sanctioned in the central government. Of these, 30,55,876 employees are on duty. Vacancies continue to arise in the respective ministries due to reasons such as retirement, promotions, resignations and deaths. It is the responsibility of the central government to create new jobs and complete their recruitments. This process will continue continuously,” Union Minister Jitendra Singh said. However, we have been appealing to the respective departments/departments to fill up such vacancies at the earliest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently announced that nearly 10 lakh vacancies in central government departments will be filled in the next one-and-a-half years.
