Vacancies for Male – 50 (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army
Personnel only). 53rd Course
Vacancies for Female – 05 (04 for Women General Category and 01 for wards of battle
casualties of Army personnel only).
The Age limitation for candidates should be 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2023 (including Wards of Battle Casualties).This can apply for both male and female candidates. It is to be noted that the candidate should be an Indian.

1.Candidates should hold a degree in a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in all the years/semesters.
2.Candidates who are in their final year are also allowed for the post with minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years and they too need to secure min 50% marks.
3.Candidates should have served for 2 academic years min in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
4.Candidate should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
For wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel, NCC ‘C’ Certificate is not required.
Candidates should be physically fit according to the approved physical standards; the procedure for the same are existing at official website of Directorate General Recruiting www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
During training monthly stipend is Rs.56100/-
The selection process of NCC is mainly based on Merit basis through Screening process of educational qualification and physical standards. The decision of HQ DG NCC and Directorate General Rtg in Army HQ, will be final in regards of short listing and forwarding of applications to SSBs.
Candidates will be selected based on SSB Interview Only.
Applications will be available online on website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders. After registration, reading the information carefully and apply online. The candidate should take 2 print-out copies of duly filled application. First copy online application should be forwarded to OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ Certificate has been issued. The second copy is to be retained by the candidate for his reference and carried to the SSB.
